Job Description

✍️ The Role

We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Public Sector SaaS Account Executive to lead our market expansion in the UK and Nordics. You will play a critical role in driving revenue, managing long-cycle public sector sales processes, and representing our urban mobility solutions across city governments, public agencies as well as corporates. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about the future of transportation, urban tech, and sustainability.

🎯 What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close

  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including responding to public tenders and RFPs

  • Build and nurture relationships with municipalities, transportation authorities, and other public sector clients as well as corporates involved in our field

  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and public sector networking opportunities

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align on market strategy and customer needs, as well as develop, implement, track, and update localized marketing and content strategy for your markets

  • Develop territory plans and contribute to go-to-market strategies specific to the Nordics and UK markets

Preferred Experience

🧠 Background & Expertise

  • 4–5 years' experience in public sector sales, ideally selling to cities, DOTs, transit authorities, or public agencies

  • Solid B2B SaaS/technology background with a consultative, solutions-driven sales approach

  • Familiarity with mobility, GIS, transportation, or environmental data sectors is highly desirable

  • Experience with long-cycle sales processes, public procurement, and RFP-driven sales

  • Background in urban planning, transport engineering, or public policy is a strong plus

  • Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment would be appreciated

🧩 Language & Cultural Skills

  • Native English required

  • Fluency in a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish) is a strong advantage

  • Deep understanding of UK and Nordic public sector procurement and cultural norms

  • Existing network within civic tech, smart city, or mobility ecosystems is highly valuable

📍Location Requirements

  • Preferably based in Paris, London or Stockholm for optimal market access

  • Regular travel within the Nordics and UK will be required

Recruitment Process

  1. Screening interview (~30min)

  2. Functional fit interview with a C-level (~45min)

  3. Fully remote case study to evaluate your hard skills

  4. Debriefing your exercise and projecting yourself in the company (~60min)

  5. Cultural fit interview with x-functional team members (~45min)
